Our free Area Ensembles are open to all, there is no audition required and you also don’t need to have a music teacher to become a member. These sessions benefit children because they:

• Get to take part in a fun activity, playing engaging and appropriate music
• Learn or improve on their music skills
• Learn or improve other important skills like teamwork, listening, musical understanding as well as social skills.

Every group takes part in the annual Music Service Area Ensemble Galas, held at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s new state-of-the-art concert hall; The Bradshaw Hall
