Join our busy finance team as a skilled and enthusiastic Finance Officer. The role will focus on essential finance activities, including sales ledger and credit control, bank reconciliations, management account preparation, fixed asset register maintenance, budget management and forecasting. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will contribute your unique blend of abilities and experiences to make a significant impact. Your skills and qualities will include, but are not limited to:Â

Management of day to day financial operations – Ensure precision and attention to detail in all documentation, striving for excellence in every aspect.Â

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation – Uphold precision and attention to detail in all documentation, ensuring excellence in every aspect.Â

Possess a high level of IT literacy – Harness a high level of IT literacy, mastering Sage 50 and the Microsoft Office Suite to empower effective financial management.Â

Preparation of financial statements and reports – Assist in budget development, management, and decision-making through thorough preparation of financial statements and reports.Â

Sound knowledge of UK financial regulations and accounting principles – Possess sound knowledge of UK financial regulations, including HMRC guidelines and fundraising codes of practice.Â

Adaptability – Embrace adaptability by prioritising multiple tasks and meeting key deadlines, all while remaining focused on long-term goals.Â

Customer service skills – Employ excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact politely and professionally with customers and colleagues.Â
